It was. One thing to try with errors on a new Dell is http://www.pcdecrapifier.com/, which removes some of the crap Dell preinstalls. FIRST. this process is for Vista users only, i have vista ultimate and this process worked for me fine.im not sure if the same process can work for xp, but you can
